Greek Orthodox Church In America If you have an interest in helping post Greek Civil War orphans, you can do so by providing us with information about individual’s birth families. Please don’t wait. If you are aware of any relatives or family/friend of an orphan, contact us as soon as possible. In some cases, once we locate a birth family it is too late. We don’t want to go to the cemetery for birth family reunions. In my own personal case, I missed meeting my surrogate mother (the only mother I knew while in the orphanage) by only three months of her death… after waiting a lifetime to reunite. The other use of this page will be used for information about the Greek Orthodox Church, up coming events, and their helpfulness in helping us find Greek orphans birth families.
